Crispy Avocado

What a great discovery! Healthy oven baked avocado fries for president!

These ‘fries’ are healthy, vegan and gluten free. No fryer is needed for these crispy fries.
They’re a great snack or side dish. And I’m sure your kids will love them too! I’ve made a DIY video to show you how easy it is to make them and I’ve shared the recipe here as well.

Ingredients (per portion)

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/8 cup flour
  • 1 egg. whisked
  • 1/8 cup bread crumbs (check if they’re vegan or gluten free if desired)
  • Olive oil

Cut the avocado in quarters, remove the skin and cut them in smaller pieces.
Cover them in flour, then in egg and finally in breadcrumbs. Grease a sheet pan and arrange the slices in a single layer. Put them in a pre-heated oven (350F/180C) for 20 minutes. Serve with your favorite sauce like cocktail sauce or a mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup.
