Surprise Chocolate Cake

It looks like a regular chocolate pound cake from the outside, but there's a surprise on the inside: ice cream! 

To make this cake yourself, bake or buy a regular or chocolate pound cake. Cut of the top slice horizontally.

Scoop out the middle of the cake using a knife and spoon.

Fill the cake with ice cream of your choice (we used stracciatella) and put the cover back on. 

Place the cake in the freezer while you prepare the frosting. Cover the cake with the frosting and freeze

until serving.
